motorcycle storage lakeland, fl

I can handle both short-term or long-term motorcycle storage. When it comes to storing a bike, I prefer not to "put it up." Storage is the death knell for bikes. Tanks rust, fuel systems clog up, tires and rubber parts harden, switches and cables get stuck, gauges die, seats crack, engine internal parts begin to rust & pit, and so on.

Your bike will get cleaned and serviced, fresh non-ethanol **treated fuel added and run through, tires set to proper inflation PSI, and all needed parts like cables and linkages lubricated.

Your bike will be stored indoors, covered, and monitored. It will be fired up and run around a short course weekly to keep everything in order. Tire pressures monitored, checks for leaks and corrosion made, and it will be wiped down each week. If the bike spends over 90 days in storage, its fuel will be drained, and again, fresh non-ethanol **treated fuel will be added. Any maintenance issues found will be sent to you with an estimate for repair should they arise. I take cycle maintenance very seriously and want you to be able to hop on and go when you are reunited.

*Ethanol added to gasoline is generally safe for daily operation. Ethanol does absorb water and will leave it at the bottom of the tank and begin to rust/rot the tank from inside out when left for a period of time. Additionally, those micro-particles of rust can travel through your fuel system playing havoc with the fuel delivery system and engine. This is why non-ethanol fuel is best for storage situations.

** Treated fuel has a fuel stabilizer added to extend the stability of the gasoline and maintain its freshness. I do not suggest leaving fuel, either fresh or treated, for more than 90 days without a change-out.
